Please join us for the American Heart Association 2018 Solutions Summit, “Mission Possible: Good Food For Every Body,” on Friday, March 23, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. at The Loft at Madison, 1555 Broadway, Detroit, Michigan 48226.
The Solutions Summit is an engaging, interactive conference designed to identify solutions and establish partnerships that foster a culture of health in Southeast Michigan. We’ll examine the dynamics of food, from environmental and edible toxins, to countering the effects of the Flint water crisis for children, to food insecurity and injustice; and how food intersects with ACEs, workplaces and public policy. We’ll build a Village Toolbox as our call-to-action for the day. Our keynote speaker for the event is Kolu Zigbi, an expert on food policy, systems, and insecurity (video here).
This event draws a diverse audience from community-based, educational, corporate, faith-based, healthcare and government arenas; individuals who want to live in a community where health is the natural occurrence for all metro Detroiters. Don’t miss out!
