Jean Meyer was named President of Providence Park Hospital on April 9, 2009. Her first role within the St. John Health System began on January 7, 2008, when she was named Senior VP and Chief Nurse Officer for the system.
Prior to coming to St. John Health System, Jean was the Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis where she spent 15 years in various leadership roles. Jean has been in Catholic Health Care for 23 years. Prior to St. Vincent she was an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist in Chicago, where she is from.
Throughout her career Jean has been passionate about high quality and safe care and has worked collaboratively and successfully with associates, physicians and hospital leaders. She has dedicated her career to improving patient care through a high quality workforce, physician partnerships, efficient operations and a clear strategy and vision for doing what is right for patient care.
Kavitha Chinnaiyan, MD
Beaumont Hospitals
Dr. Chinnaiyan is the director of advanced cardiac imaging education at Beaumont Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree from Gulbarga University in India and continued her medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in Bronx, New York. Chinnaiyan then continued her medical training at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, where she was the chief medical resident. This led to a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at William Beaumont Hospital, where she currently holds her position. Chinnaiyan currently serves as the president of the American Heart Association Southeastern Michigan Board of Directors.
