Young at Heart Young Professionals Network is a social network designed for Metro Detroit Young Professionals who want to cultivate their own career growth, all-the-while making a sincere impact on the cardiovascular health of the Metro Detroit community by supporting the American Heart Association (AHA). Young at Heart members are able to serve the mission of the AHA while building business and personal relationships through fun social networking events, year-round. Membership is $100 and includes free admittance to ALL standard Young at Heart events throughout the year including two networking events, and Executive Breakfast, and a ticket to the 2017 Metro Detroit Pulse Party (Heart Ball After Party).

The Young at Heart Professional Leadership Team is a select group of volunteers responsible for assisting AHA staff in the organization and/or execution of key events and one mission event annually (i.e. Heart Walk, Go Red For Women Premiere Party, Red Dress Dash, Wear Red Day activities). The Leadership Team meets 4 to 5 times throughout the year.
As a member of the Young at Heart Professional Leadership Team, you will:
- Attend a minimum of three Professional Leadership Team meetings and two events annually
- Sign up to be an advocate at www.yourethecure.org
- Assist in the organization of the Detroit Heart Ball PULSE Party, Executive Breakfast & Networking Events
- Volunteer for at least one mission engagement
