Hard Hats with Heart – the American Heart Association’s nationwide movement to end heart disease and stroke within the Construction Industry. We work to engage and empower their employees, families, and communities as it relates to their overall health and well-being.
What is “Hard Hat’s with Heart”?
The AHA, together with Barton Malow Company, saw a great need to spread awareness about heart disease and its' risk factors within the construction industry. Because of their passion and commitment to this cause, Hard Hats with Heart is launching in Metro Detroit. More than a fundraiser, Hard Hats with Heart is a networking event where general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, unions, healthcare and other industry executives from Southeast Michigan health systems and companies come together in efforts to build a healthier Detroit.
